A fun project to try

Im always on the lookout for new techniques to try and when I saw this I just had to get my hands dirty and give it a go....

With my fondness of Black and White photography I have always wanted to display my shots with unique borders that nobody else uses....   First I painted some rough lines with black acrylic on some white card with a stick from my yard!   After they had dried I photographed the card and then stored on my computer. After a few levels tweaks I was able to use the lines as custom borders in photoshop....    it feels good to use something "home-made"

These are what I "painted" with a stick!

Something a little Different.

Here is as shot I worked on last week.  Made a dusk scene with two of my images (moon and boardwalk). Its nice to be able to use my moon image again in this way ......

A mixed bag

It's been a little while since my last post so I thought I would add a few shots from the last couple of months.  Landscape, Black and White, pet portrait, wildlife ....   a real mixed bag.  Enjoy!
