Another day .... another panorama

I was out hitting some trails in the woods on my mountain bike the other evening and all of a sudden it opened up to this view.  Well ....  since I don't go far without my camera I was able to shoot a quick 10 shot pano of the view....   Wish I had a higher vantage point but hey, who's complaining with views like these?

Panoramic View

Today I finally completed the Large task of (almost) finishing the editing of my Panorama I took in Sunny San Francisco back in February.  To give you an idea of its size it is made up from 12 images taken vertically from the overlook at Bakers Beach and if printed on a standard printer it would measure 6 feet wide!.  Normally I would use a tripod but this one is strictly hand-held which has added to the difficulty in completing the edit.  However....  here it is in its 95% complete stage.  I still have some stitching issues to sort out and will do that this week....  Feel free to zoom into this (much) smaller version to see some of the detail.  Especially the two guys in the sofa enjoying the epic view!

Finally Pictures from my trip

Well a rainy Sunday afternoon has allowed me to finally get to processing some of my shots from my trip to San Francisco back in February.  I probably have around 300 of them to go through but here is a quick batch.  As usual I like detail and symmetry but I also had to include the typical Golden Gate night shot!  How could I resist?

And finally I found this on my hard drive.  Completely forgotten I took this.  Was taken on a stormy afternoon at the Marina where I work.  I thought it would look nice with an oil paint look to compliment the skies.
